A good night was had by all, you lot have missed a lot of fun. Picies will be along later, once everyone gets back and downloads their camera stuff

It's been a superb weekend, so firstly thanks to all who were involved in organising it! Lots of alcohol was involved, for the evening party, we took in a bit of Bristol history during the day. Finally, mentioning no names, one person got so drunk, they couldn't remember how they got back to where they were sleeping (it wasn't me, can anyone guess who it was? )

Pity the weekend had to be spoiled by the UK's absolutely abysmal public transport system (two extra hours on the train from Bristol to Leeds, then an hour stuck about half a mile outside my home-station, courtesy of some stuck points).

I think I'll avoid trains for another ten years, tonight's been a good example of why I should...

It's been a genuine priviledge and a pleasure to have so many lovely people come to Bristol this weekend, most especially Saskia (Dye) and Kenneth (Langly) who came from so far away just to meet us. I hope I did my best to make you feel welcome and taken care of. You are all just as I imagined you would be, only ever so much lovelier. Dan sorry you had such a terrible trip home - we all blame Raggy as you know, and hope that his role as leader of the kin will now entail providing a better level of transport to future kin events!! Even Dye got home before you and she lives in Holland, so hope you're resting happily as I type this.

Highlights for me were having Greebo to play with at the party, taking the Usual Suspects round the SS Great Britain, seeing Langly experience some English heritage, like HP Sauce, Yorkshire Puddings and Top Gear! And thank you for my presents - my first night on Moria I intend to drink Spanish Rioja (possibly from a giant tea cup!) and eat Sinterklaas chocolate and other Dutch nibbles!

And once again, a most especial thank you to Sandra for coming up with the idea and setting it into motion, organising everyone's trip and making all those lovely momentoes for us, which I know was a real labour of love. It gave the night a really special significance and I shall treasure mine forever.

I can't wait for the next one - hopefully wedding plans won't scupper my ability to attend - and next time I shall hopefully remember the entire night...

Aaaww, the fun. I'm seriously not kidding when I'm saying that when i woke up on sunday morning I was laughing the entire way from the bed to the shower and back again :)

it was great to see you all, and splendid arranged by Sandra and Nickie. Thank you very much for all the work, and I hope seeing so many people happy made it worth all the stress :). And I really liked the guardian key chain and all the loot we got from our little raid :D Well, I really just liked everything :D

Also, I want to send my thanks to Becky and Carl!!! Great stories from both of you :D Best ever :D

As I'm still waiting for the patching to complete it's a good alternative to spend my time on the forum and think back to the great great weekend we just have had in Bristol

On my arrival on Bristol airport, Nickie stood there waiting with this beautiful sign with "Jesters" on it, while writing texts to Dan who was also arriving in Bristol at the time and she also knew that Sandra and Rob had found Kenneth in the hotel and were already sitting in the bar Hehe, just to describe how busy Nickie and Sandra were this weekend while taking care of us and all the organizing and of course sharing in all the fun around them as well!

I could of course make this a loooong story, which is tempting, 'cause I'm still waiting for the update to complete ...omg... updater: 17% *cry* ... , but let me write it in a shorter version:

Thorog, Jester's Sign, Carl, Becky, Sandra, Dan, Rob, Kenneth, Nickie, Ross, Dave, great stories, hahahaha, Raiding, SS Great Brittain, long walk on friday evening to find Smilies...eeh or was it Yard...eeh, Nickie?? , HP sauce aka brown sauce...vinegar-ish *surprised*, full english breakfast, Pirate's Walk becoming lunch, chocolate and other sweets, rolls and salad, Loot!, Greebo!!, Jester's hat, photo's, lot's of talking and laughing...and...and...

...yeah, it was great fun! Now I'm going to watch the photo's again, hehe
